Tobias is an experienced Licensed Immigration Adviser with a passion for helping migrants on their journeys to New Zealand and helping businesses source global talent. Tobias loves a challenge and relishes finding solutions for issues that others think cannot be solved. He is experienced in all visa streams, including employer accreditation, investor pathways and tribunal appeals.
Tobias is also an employment advocate and registered Member of ELINZ (Employment Law Institute of New Zealand). The UVISA team also offer employment advocacy and legal advice to international workers and businesses.
Tobias hopes to complete the Bachelor of Laws at Waikato University in the next two years. In his free time, he likes to thrash drums in his shed.

Mei Oshima is our Japanese team member and trainee Licensed Adviser. Mei first came to New Zealand when she was 16 years old for high school and never looked back. She is settled in New Zealand and currently completing her studies to become a Licensed Immigration Adviser and working with us part-time.
Mei has been working in hospitality and retail industry for numbers of years and obtained visas for herself. While working in the industry she has met many migrants struggling with the visa process and saw the need for qualified immigration advice. Mei is passionate about helping people in need of assistance with their visa matters. She loves helping people discover New Zealand as a study and work destination and is our specialist with visas and study pathways for Japanese international students.

With existing qualifications in Management and Business, Cherie began her immigration career in corporate relocations. Relocating all types of employees from CEO’s to miners gave a comprehensive insight into the entire migration process. Finding homes and schools for migrant families inspired a passion for truly helping people to find their place in New Zealand.
Cherie became a fully licensed Immigration Advisor in 2009. Her excellent standards and systematic approach delivered consistent results, and she gained extensive internal connections working with a large number of specialised colleagues.
Shifting the focus to boutique services, Cherie now dedicates her time to delivering high contact and high-quality customer experiences specialising in readying employers to recruit offshore talent and managing the immigration requirements for their new and existing employees.

Isabel is a qualified lawyer from Brazil. She works as a licensed adviser.
